Entre los nuevos amplificadores ofrecidos por Guitar Rig 3 se encuentran "Ultraschall", "Tweed Delight", "Citrus" y "Hi-White". El desarrollador indica que si el usuario es un guitarrista no tardará mucho en reconocer los amplificadores originales que se han utilizado para modelar el sonido de estas versiones digitales.

La nueva versión también presenta un módulo denominado Matched Cabinet. Esta característica proporciona una combinación correcta de micrófonos y cajas para cada amplificador, de modo que si se selecciona un Marshall JCM 800 amp, ya no habrá que preocuparse de ajustar los modelos de las cajas.
